The realization of the window restoration project of the historical building of the UL at Raiņa bulvāris 19, Riga, started in 2022, and it is planned to be realized by 2026. It is planned to attract the project financed by the Emissions Quota Auction Instrument to in the open competition "Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Protected Architectural Monuments of State Importance". 


Replacement and restoration of the existing windows, doors and stained-glass windows of the historical UL building at Raiņa bulvāris 19, Riga, to increase energy efficiency.


The energy efficiency of the building will be improved by 17 kWh/m2 per year.


As part of the project, it is planned to carry out: insulation of the attic and the Great Hall; restoration of windows, window sills, and window openings; restoration of exterior doors, as well as replacement of roof skylights.
